Sessions to Cops: You are abandoned no more-Trump has your back

Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions Delivers Remarks at the National Association of Police Organizations – 25th Annual Top Cops Awards

Partial Transcript:

I believe one of my highest duties is to call attention to your successes and to encourage our fellow citizens to support you in your difficult and dangerous work.

But what has made times difficult recently for law enforcement is that—by the end of the previous administration—many of you came to believe that some of the political leadership of this country had abandoned you.

Some radicals and politicians began to unfairly malign and blame police as a whole for the crimes and unacceptable deeds of a few. Amazing— their message seemed to be that the police were the problem, not the criminals. They wanted the ACLU to determine police policies, and that was enforced by a federal court order.

Let me say this loud and clear: as long as I am the Attorney General of the United States, the Department of Justice will have the back of all honest and honorable law enforcement officers.

This is the Trump era.  We support law enforcement.

Of course, we will continue to hold accountable any officer who violates the law and undermines the good work of our police.  But we will not malign entire police departments.  We will not try to micromanage their daily work all the way from Washington, D.C.   We will not enter into agreements or court decrees that outsource policymaking to political activists.

We will not agree to decrees that curtail proactive law enforcement practices that save lives, especially the lives of minorities and those living in poorer neighborhoods.  We will encourage the proven, Constitutional, and proactive policing that your departments must do to keep America safe.

I want all of you to know that you have a President in the White House who supports you and believes strongly in your work.  President Trump cares deeply about these issues.

He has made clear, both through his executive orders and in conversations with me, that supporting law enforcement and turning back the recent surge in violent crime in our country is one of his top priorities.

The day I was sworn in as Attorney General, he sent me an executive order to “back the men and women in blue”.

And in law enforcement, we’re all in this together on the same mission.  You are the ones on the front lines in this fight — and our goal is to help give you the tools and support you need to do your jobs.

That’s why our signature law enforcement program, Project Safe Neighborhoods, requires our U.S. Attorneys to establish a crime plan from the bottom up— consulting with state and local enforcement officers first.

You can be certain about this: we have your back and you have our thanks.

Judicial Watch Calls DOJ ‘s probe of Hillary a “Sham”- Doubles Down on call for criminal investigation

Tom Fitton says “Abedin Emails show an urgent need for a criminal investigation.”

Wednesday, a dedicated citizen who has filed numerous FOIA lawsuits against the Federal Government to force their transparency,  reminded readers that classified emails from Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton to her aide Huma Abedin were found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop and again said they should be investigated.

“The fact that classified emails, between Clinton and Abedin, were found on Weiner’s laptop shows the urgent need for a real criminal investigation,” said Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch.

Previously Fitton had called upon President Donald J. Trump’s Department of Justice to start a “real criminal investigation”.

In December, Judicial Watch told followers that they had received notice of the email release of emails that were overlooked in previous investigations.

This new release of a batch of 2,800 documents, proves to Fitton that a new investigation needs to be opened into embattled Hillary Clinton’s “Illicit secret server”, where Fitton believes he will find further proof of “pay to play” between the Department of State and the Clinton Foundation, under Clinton.

In January, Fitton made an appearance on the Tucker Carlson show and told host Brian Kilmeade, he has read about 140 emails and found 4 that were clearly classified so far before the State Dept server went down.

“The FBI found the emails last year, and 16 months later they have gotten them to us.  We are digging thru the records. You are not supposed to remove them or store them in unclassified systems,” Fitton said.

Anthony Weiner, who owned the laptop where they found the classified documents,  was found guilty of producing Child Pornography.

Fitton said that Weiner was involved in “stuff that made these classified documents at risk. We know that.  Why was Hillary left off the hook? They left this classified info on the internet equivalent of a public park bench, ” said Fitton.

“There was a sham investigation into these emails when Obama was there, we need the Justice Department to do a real investigation.  President Trump was elected to make sure this stuff was stopped,” said Fitton.

Anticipation: DOJ IG report to say FBI and DOJ broke law in Clinton Probe

Thursday, reports of the long-awaited  US Department of Justice, Inspector General’s reports hit a crescendo with the discussion that the report was finished and being declassified.

“The Inspector General’s report is being reviewed for classified data, and people who have been criticized in the report have the rest of the week to petition changes, ” reported OAN News.

Fox News reported that the first report, which is anticipated for the public release within days, would review the FBI and DOJ Probe of Presidental Candidate Hillary R. Clinton’s email scandal.

“The completion of a long-awaited watchdog report on the FBI and DOJ’s Hillary Clinton investigation during the 2016 presidential campaign has put Washington on edge, as the clock counts down to its potentially explosive release.

“We’re all anxiously awaiting this report,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told Fox News’ “Hannity.”

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced the draft report was done in a letter to members of Congress on Wednesday. He did not say when the results of the review will be officially released to the FBI, DOJ and congressional committees,” reported Fox News

Breitbart News reported that report would declare the FBI and DOJ broke the law in the probe.

“A new report suggests an imminent Inspector General (IG) report may rule that FBI and Justice Department officials broke the law in their handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation,” reported Breitbart News.

Investigative reporter Paul Sperry said Thursday that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has “found ‘reasonable grounds’ for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ’s handling of the Clinton investigation/s,” adding that the top watchdog official has “referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution.”

Not So Fast: Where are the Gun Running Records on Eric Holder?

March 7,  Attorney General Jeff Sessions said the Department of Justice (DOJ) would provide documents to Congress on the Obama-era program dubbed “Fast and Furious”.

The program allowed criminals to purchase guns in Phoenix-based gun shops in order to track them into Mexico.

The Justice Department, then run by Eric Himpton Holder Jr., declined to provide documents on the program to Congress in 2012 and was held in contempt of Congress.

Holder is the only Attorney General to be held in contempt of Congress.

Holder is an open border, pro-Amnesty, pro-Santurary city advocate, currently at the center of a battle between lawmakers in California, with the Senate wanting him to tight President Trump’s immigration policies, and the Assembly wanting him to go away.

Holder continues to be a social justice warrior using race against the American culture, and he has been active in a Democrat plot to redistrict States congressional lines, where Democrats need an edge to win US house races in 2018 and 2020.

The decision to release the sought after documents ends six years of litigation with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

The Washington Times reported on the murder of a Border Agent, Brian Terry , who was killed by a criminal who had been encouraged to get guns under Holder’s scheme.

According to  Washington Times, “Mexican authorities said Thursday they’ve arrested one of the fugitives wanted on murder charges in the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry — a shooting that drew new attention to the dangerous border and exposed a botched Obama administration gun crimes probe.

Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes was part of a five-man “rip crew” that patrolled the border looking to rob drug smugglers, U.S. officials said. A team of agents got on their trail in December 2014 and the crew decided to shoot it out, killing Terry in the exchange.

Two of the weapons the crew used were part of the Obama administration’s botched Operation Fast and Furious, which had allowed straw purchasers to buy weapons in the U.S. and then smuggle them back to Mexico, where many ended up in the hands of the cartels.”
