Soapbox Revolutions: Democrats Erasing Native Heritage- Ivan Alex Dozier

Published

on

A man who made National Headlines when a professor filmed him using a bathroom at the University of Illinois, spoke with Populist Wire about updates to his case, and the message the school staff are still violently trying to shut down.

Jay Rosenstein, a professor of Journalism at the University of Illinois, followed  Ivan “Alex”  Dozier, a member of Honor the Chief, a man of Native heritage, into a bathroom and filmed him, because Dozier was dressed in Native American outfit.

Honor the Chief is about a symbol of tribes that started in 1926.  It was loved until about the 1990’s when it became politically correct to eradicate Native Imagery from sports.  Ironically that is about the time that Rosenstein started his filmmaking projects on the University’s Native icon.

FILMMAKING, STALKING, “JOURNALISM”

THIS is the story of man, hell-bent to eradicate Native Heritage from the University of Illinois to the point that he filmed another man in a bathroom, claiming to investigate.

From the Article:

“Jay Rosenstein, a professor of media and cinema studies, said he wanted to respond to “certain rumors and innuendo” about Monday night’s incident, in which he was accused of following members of a pro-Chief Illiniwek group into a bathroom and videotaping them. He was arrested by UI police for unauthorized videotaping but was released from the county jail the next morning after the state’s attorney’s office declined to charge him with a crime.

Rosenstein said he’s been following the Chief Illiniwek saga since 1993, and has periodically updated his 1997 documentary “In Whose Honor?” with additional footage. He’s also been planning to create a comprehensive video on the Chief issue today, so getting footage of his appearances at Illinois is part of that effort, he said.

If university employees were involved in the Chief’s performances, he added, “it would be a serious violation of the university’s agreement with the NCAA regarding the Chief, a major story and a big journalistic scoop.”

HELL BENT TO ERADICATE NATIVE HERITAGE

This is the story of the deconstruction of something very valuable to Americans. The spirit, and tradition of their favorite American institutions.

Native Americans are especially fond of their traditions.  People whose ancestors were on this land for generations before the European settlers arrived have a unique and complex history.  One that Rosenstein does not share with Dozier.

Politicians have not been patient to those people, in allowing them to preserve their heritage.

Throughout history, Democrats like Rosenstein have led the eradication of Native/ Tribal Heritage from the Common Culture, and that is not any different today.

Dozier and a group of community members started Honor The Chief, as an educational group that has kept alive a symbol of the unification of Tribes in the University of Illinois Urbana area.

Chief Illiniwek, which represents a confederation of 12-16 tribes.

Rosenstein hates the symbol.  He can not tolerate the symbol. But the Chief is not without supporters:

FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND UNITY- WHAT WE COULD LEARN FROM THE PAST

“Several nations got together and put their differences aside- and that is special that is what the Chief means to me,” Dozier told Populist Wire.

“There are people whose heritage is reflected in the symbol, who are active in the group.  This isn’t political.  We have people in our groups from all ideologies,” he said.

The Universty professors are the ones who are giving Dozier and his group trouble.

“The people it hurts is Native American people, who want to speak with our own unique voice.  We are not one voice,  The Chief himself was not one tribe,” said Dozier.

“It feels like history repeating itself.  This is the  Third wave of history, eradicating Native history, and they think they are well-meaning.  But our culture is wiped out with people who are well-meaning. We lost alot of our early native religious traditions.  The second wave was boarding schools, and now these high schools and colleges professors are doing it again.

They don’t have a connection with the history or a  level of tolerance, these people who want to eradicate native culture will not understand the history or intention of our symbols- and it is another loop in history.  Those who oppose us are angry- violent  and they just want to eradicate us,” Dozier said.

A lot has changed in the past few years…then again…a lot hasn't…When you speak your mind, sometimes people will…

HIS MISSION

So he speaks out…

Dozier reached out to all political groups on Campus in October.

Republicans agreed to hear him and invited him to their meeting. But the meeting turned violent when a school employee attacked Dozier and caused property damage.

Libertarians agreed to hear him but backed out due to the employee’s violence at the Republican’s meeting.

Democrats declined.

“When people are trying to debate on this- they do not have the information, so the purpose of the speech was to reach out and help educate,” Dozier said. “I just want people to know the truth,” he said.

And for that opinion, he has faced violence, death threats and harassment from University of Illinois staff.  Over embracing his own ethnic heritage, which those school employees do not share.

“The school wants to keep people from getting any facts- they are trying to stifle the voice of people with tribal ancestry,” he said.

‘Meeting with the Chief’ results in alleged vandalism, assault and police involvement

Rosenstein is on Professor Watch

Populist Wire did attempt to contact Rosenstein, however, we were stuck on hold, shuffled around for about 20 mins and then hung up on, as a refusal to comment.

Attorney General Eric Holder today announced that the Department of Justice released its first-ever National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction. The strategy also provides the first-ever comprehensive threat assessment of the dangers facing children from child pornography, online enticement, child sex tourism, commercial sexual exploitation and sexual exploitation in Indian Country, and outlines a blueprint to strengthen the fight against these crimes. The strategy builds upon the department’s accomplishments in combating child exploitation by establishing specific, aggressive goals and priorities and increasing cooperation and collaboration at all levels of government and the private sector.

Despite vigorously fighting all aspects of child exploitation, the department recognized that more work remains to be done. To that end, the department’s strategy lays out goals to increase coordination among the nation’s investigators, better train investigators and prosecutors, advance law enforcement’s technological capabilities and enhance research to inform decisions on deterrence, incarceration and monitoring. The strategy also includes a renewed commitment to public awareness and community outreach.

“It’s Disgusting” | President Of San Francisco Tourist Agency Says Of City

Published

on

Even the local tourist agencies are starting to complain about the amount of eye-sore piling up in the San Francisco city area. In all honesty, minus the complete upside down leftist culture who would want to visit a city that has maps for defecation on the streets.

San Francisco Chronicle Reports: People injecting themselves with drugs in broad daylight, their dirty needles and other garbage strewn on the sidewalks. Tent camps. Human feces. The threatening behavior of some people who appear either mentally ill or high. Petty theft.

“The streets are filthy. There’s trash everywhere. It’s disgusting,” D’Alessandro said, adding he’s traveled the world, and San Francisco stands out for the wrong reasons. “I’ve never seen any other city like this — the homelessness, dirty streets, drug use on the streets, smash-and-grabs.

“How can it be?” he continued. “How can it have gotten to this point?”

Published

on

Starbucks is going to the illogical extreme by taking an entire day to put their employees through what they call “Racial Bias Education Day”. Coming after a viral videos showed two men being arrested in a Starbucks in Philadelphia. Starbucks almost instantly gave into calls to do ‘something’ but will this really fix anything in a culture where ‘racism’ is more of a political talking point than an actual substantive conversation or debate.

CNBC Reports: Starbucks said Tuesday it will be closing all of its company-owned restaurants in the U.S. during the afternoon of May 29 to conduct a racial-bias education program.

“I’ve spent the last few days in Philadelphia with my leadership team listening to the community, learning what we did wrong and the steps we need to take to fix it,” Kevin Johnson, CEO of Starbucks, said in a statement Tuesday. “While this is not limited to Starbucks, we’re committed to being a part of the solution. Closing our stores for racial bias training is just one step in a journey that requires dedication from every level of our company and partnerships in our local communities.”
