“An End To Crime Cradling Sanctuary Cities” | Trump Tweets

Just a month after the US began legal proceedings against California’s “unjust, unfair and unconstitutional policies” with regard to illegal immigrants, President Trump is escalating his tweet-attacks against the “crime-cradling” Sanctuary cities Friday morning, correctly pointing out that “tremendous pressure” is building to end sanctuary city policies once and for all.

Trump also touted his administration’s decision to begin construction on part of his promised border wall near San Diego, an area where Trump was welcomed by crowds of supporters during a recent visit.

The DOJ’s decision to sue the state of California over its sanctuary city laws has inspired several California cities to join the rebellion against the state’s ultra-liberal government.

Citizens the state over are refusing to sit idly by while California Gov. Jerry Brown unlawfully protects illegals in their state. Los Alamitos was the first city to take action, voting 4-1 on March 19 to pass a city ordinance exempting it from SB 54.

That vote set in motion a small movement:

Furthermore, the cities of Aliso Viejo and Buena Park have announced they would join the push against the law.

Earlier this month, the Huntington Beach City Council voted to sue the state over SB 54, which protects illegal immigrants by preventing local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE agents

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested 97 immigrants at a Grainger County, Tennessee meatpacking plant late Thursday in what civil rights organizations are calling the largest single workplace raid in a decade, reports the Washington Post. At least 86 of the immigrants were in the United States illegally.

The Homeland Security Investigations arm of ICE executed a federal criminal search warrant on the Southern Provision meat packing plant in a joint operation with the Internal Revenue Service and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Ten people were arrested on federal criminal charges, one person was arrested on state charges and 86 immigrants were detained for being in the country illegally, Tammy Spicer, a spokeswoman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said in a statement Friday. All of those arrested were in the country illegally, she said. Most were from Mexico.

The National Immigration Law Center and other immigrant advocates said the Tennessee raid was the largest since the George W. Bush administration and deployed many of the tactics of that era, with a surprise blitz of the factory, a helicopter and streets blocked by state and local authorities. ICE officials would not say where the raid ranked in terms of size. -WaPo

Acting ICE director Tom Homan said last year that the agency planned to “significantly” increase operations targeting businesses which employ illegal immigrants, however he said the department’s strategy would be different than those employed under president Obama.

“Now we’re going to prosecute the employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens,” Homan said last year. “We’re going to detain and remove the illegal alien workers.”

Refugee Admissions Cut 77% Under Trump From Obama

The Trump administration, which has proposed a massive 60 percent reduction in refugee admissions from the Obama-era high of 110,000, is expected to cut that number even deeper. according to preliminary estimates.

Experts evaluating the administration’s latest refugee totals now predict a slash of over 77 percent, to 25,000 refugees a year.

“The national quota was lowered drastically by the Trump administration from 2018. His quota is, like, 45,000. Likely by the end of the year the number will be substantially less than even that,” according to Don Barnett, a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies and widely published on refugee resettlement and asylum issues.

At a Tuesday conference, he added that Trump could “zero out” refugees, because it is up to the president to set levels.

Based on current refugee statistics, he said that the administration will likely allow in far less than the proposed ceiling of 45,000. “I personally think it will come in at half that. I think it will come in at 25,000 or so,” said Barnett. “It’s not going to come anywhere near 45,000,” he added.

Obama averaged 75,000 refugee admissions every year, he said.

Refugees have become controversial around the nation as more have poured in. State and local communities have balked at the costs, about $3,000 each, and the right they have to welfare and medical help.

Illegal Immigrants Have Been Committing Identity Fraud According To The IRS

Published

Via The Daily Wire)

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has documented over 1.3 million identify thefts committed by illegal aliens given Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN) from 2011 to 2016, reveals a CNS News report.

It’s unclear how many, if any, of the illegals committing the identity theft have been referred by the department for prosecution.

Additionally, the IRS found about 1.2 million other cases of so-called “refund fraud” committed by illegals. “In these cases, a tax return was filed by using a Social Security number that either belonged to someone else or was made up, according to the report,” notes The Blaze.

“We identified 1,227,579 electronically filed tax returns, processed in FY 2017 through April 18, 2017, in which the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number on the return does not match the Social Security Number on the Form W-2,” said the treasury inspector general for Tax Administration.

“Note that a Social Security Number may have been used on Form W-2 for more than one of these returns,” he added.

From 2011 to 2016, the IRS has reportedly placed an “employment identity theft marker” on 1,346,485 taxpayer accounts.

When asked by CNS News how many illegals participating in such crimes have been referred to law enforcement for investigation and prosecution, the IRS answered, “We do not have this information.”
