NC Teachers Walk Out, Republicans launch Truth Bomb at new Website

Published

on

Tuesday, the Executive Director of the North Carolina Republican party spoke with Populist Wire about a new Website the party launched to help teachers and North Carolinians understand the teacher pay debate in North Carolina.

“We have the highest respect for teachers, and we want them to get paid more. That is why we have to keep working at it, ” said Dallas Woodhouse.

Teachers in NC will be walking out Wednesday, with the organizing power of Unions and Democrat Get Out the Vote groups.

“We don’t think the Unions are giving people the facts about what we are doing to increase Teacher’s Pay in North Carolina.  This WalkOut is not to benefit teachers.   Republicans have a great reverence for teachers, but the truth is that people are not listening to the details of the debate.  Who are the ones who cut teacher’s funds?  Not Us, ” said Woodhouse.

NCGOP PUSHES BACK WITH TARGETED ADVERTISEMENT

TYPICAL RADICAL DEMOCRAT UNION TECHNIQUES:

Woodhouse told Populist Wire he was concerned that teachers and others were getting swept up into a false controversy over teacher pay that will only ever benefit Democrats running for office.

“We think there are innocent people, innocent teachers getting caught up in this walk out.  We are not anti-teacher.  We hope this website will help people understand better,” said Woodhouse.

WHAT STARTED ALL OF THIS

A one-sided story, Monday, about a NC Teacher’s Paycheck:

The NCGOP has targeted an add for the website that will appear on people’s phone during tomorrow’s Teachers Protest in Raleigh.  It will be a great time to fact check, while people are waiting for their events to happen with the protest rally.

North Carolina would elect Trump again by 8 points

North Carolina Voters Would Re-Elect Trump, Approval Rating at 51%; Generic Ballot Tied
Wednesday,  the Civitas Institute released a statewide poll which reveals that if the 2016 presidential election were held again today, President Donald Trump would defeat Hillary Clinton, in North Carolina, by eight points. The exact text of the question is as follows:

If the 2016 Presidential Election were held again in 2018, for whom would you vote: (RANDOMIZE)

45%        Donald Trump, the Republican
37%        Hillary Clinton, the Democrat
5%           Gary Johnson, the Libertarian
2%           Jill Stein, Green Party
6%           Write-in someone else
4%           Would not vote

Perhaps equally noteworthy is the increase in President Trump’s approval rating, which has crossed the 50 percent threshold in the Civitas Poll for the first time. The exact text of the question is as follows:

Now, please tell me whether you approve or disapprove of the job that Donald Trump is doing as President?

51%        Total Approve
47%        Total Disapprove
2%           Don’t Know

“These results are noteworthy because they appear to be contrary to the narrative of an oncoming anti-Trump blue wave,” said Civitas President Donald Bryson. “Either the blue wave momentum is not congealing, or North Carolinians are simply acting contrary to the larger national narrative, even when you consider the generic congressional ballot.”

The Civitas Poll contained a generic ballot test question for Congressional races, with likely voters evenly split between Democrats and Republicans at 41 percent each. The exact text of the question is as follows:

And regardless of how you would vote at the state level, if the election for Congress were being held today, would you be voting for the: (ROTATE)

41%        Republican candidate
41%        Democratic candidate
7%           Neither/Other/Independent
11%        Don’t Know/Undecided/Need More Info

Bryson continued, “Surprisingly, 18-40-year-olds– a reliable group for Democrats in previous years – appear to be breaking for Republicans in the generic ballot test, as well as job approval for the President.”

Crosstabs for these questions can be found here.

This statewide poll surveyed 600 likely voters (35% on cell phones) with a margin of error +/- 4.0%. This survey was taken May 1-3, 2018. A copy of the crosstabs, in their entirety, will be released later today.

For questions or interview requests contact Brooke Medina, Civitas Communications Director, at 919-714-4907 or bmedina@nccivitas.org.

Founded in 2005, the Civitas Institute is a Raleigh, NC-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit policy organization that fights to remove barriers to freedom so that all North Carolinians can enjoy a better life.

“Last year, North Carolina was ranked #1 in the US for fastest rising teacher pay, and we’re going to be offering another raise this year,” said Charles Helwig Chairman, Wake County Republican Party & Chairman, NCGOP 4th Congressional District.

“That’s why this decision to close school for a political rally and inconvenience parents seems so out of touch in North Carolina,” he said.

FIRST DAY GENERAL ASSEMBLY CONVENES – MAY 16th

And Teachers will be protesting.

Democrat Community  Organizers in North Carolina have been using Teacher’s Unions and Democrat Employees to hit a constant drumbeat, for over 8 years, of being underpaid and demanding more money in order to fundraise and influence local elections.

BLUE WAVE

They have been at it since 2010

On occasion, teacher activists  need to be removed from the Capitol building in Raleigh because they are loud, aggressive and disruptive.

May 16th the employees who teach in Wake County North Carolina will walk out on their students in a planned walkout.  They will go to protest for the Democrat Party, demanding more money for themselves and hoping to fundraise for local Democrats.

WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS AND PARENTS?

According to the official notice from Wake County Department of Education to parents, reported by many parents and news outlets, Taxpayer supported Public School employees don’t care about the children and parents. READ:

Parents,

Many of you are aware that thousands of educators from throughout North Carolina are scheduled to gather in Raleigh on Wednesday, May 16. They are attending a rally at the General Assembly to improve teacher working conditions and classroom opportunities for our children.

At this time, about 2,500 Wake County teachers have requested time away from the classroom to participate in this rally. More requests are expected in the coming days. Our principals can no longer ensure regular instruction and supervision.

As a result, all schools will be closed for normal operations on Wednesday, May 16. It will become an optional teacher workday. No make-up day for students will be required. We are working with principals and school leaders to accommodate modified food service and high school exam schedules. You will receive that information in the coming days.

We are extremely aware that disrupting family routines puts a burden on parents. At the same time, the voices of our teachers need to be heard. Year after year our teachers are asked to do more with less.

I ask that you support them in their decision to highlight the needs of their profession and your children.

Sincerely,

Monika Johnson-Hostler
Chair, Wake County Board of Education

Michele Nix, Vice-Chairman, NCGOP

“The General Assembly is working steadfastly on their teacher appreciation agenda, but we wanted to offer something today for parents to deal with this unexpected school closure.” – Michele Nix, NCGOP Vice Chairman

“A Democrat Governor and Democrat lawmakers were the ones that voted to cut teacher pay and furlough teachers. Republicans are cleaning up the Democrats’ attacks on teachers by improving the economy and offering five straight years of teacher pay raises, including the largest in state history,” Nix said.

Blue Wave crashing: Dems in NC to Dems in NC: “Stop disrupting” Freedom Caucus member Budd’s district

Published

on

A group of Democrats in North Carolina voted to distance themselves from the unpopular Progressive Movement that has taken over their party.  Tried of the negative consequences of Communist Organizing by Democrat funded groups in the 13th District, not even the Democrat party can face the humiliation any longer.

The party’s two Democrat opponents face a Primary May 8th.  Voters will determine who will face popular  House  Freedom Caucus member , business man and incumbent Rep.  Ted Paul Budd  (R-NC).

According to the NC Triad:

Democratic Party delegates for North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District passed a resolution today requesting that the DCCC, the House Democrats’ fundraising arm, stay out of the primary election as voters select a nominee to challenge Republican incumbent Ted Budd in the state’s most heavily contested congressional race.

The resolution approved today by the NC 13th District Democrats during their annual convention at GTCC’s Jamestown campus called support by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee “a disruptive and undemocratic force,” while calling on the state party to “demand that the DCCC support of candidates during  the primary election process be forbidden.”

THE DCCC.  FUNDRAISING, A PRIMER ON COMMUNITY ORGANIZING:

Democrats are Organizing under the name #BlueWave,  funding local Democrat groups through large financial bodies run by Former President Obama and his associates George Soros and David Brock.

In targeted states, such as North Carolina, these larger groups are providing activists with expensive platforms, materials and resources on how to disrupt their communities.

Community/ Communist Organizing is a tactic that is employed by Democrats with the purpose of overthrowing the American Representative Republic and installing a “Democracy”, using identity politics and agitation.  The movement grew to popularity in the late 1950’s with leader Saul Alinsky, who applied branding, messaging and PR to it’s anti-American values.

American citizens, bored with security and peace, disgruntled by a lack of easy success they believe the Government gives others, find Community Organizing groups a place of excitement, revenge and power.

Alinsky was instrumental in disrupting sleepy, peaceful suburban areas with hateful rhetoric, such as found in his book, Rules For Radicals.  The book attacked American concepts that produced the American Middle Class.  Alinsky hated a peaceful and quiet America.  He was thrilled with setting opponents against each other and watching them fight.

With the availability of easy drugs in the 1960’s, Alinsky was successful as the father of drug-fueled rage- a-holics who started a seductive movement in American churches and schools, and that attracted the likes of Democrats John  F. Kerry, Hillary R. Clinton and Barack H. Obama.

Community Organizing roots are in Chinese Communist ideas of  propaganda, and in infiltrating institutions to bring cultural change – while simultaneously going into the streets and spreading propaganda which they hope brings about fear and discourse.

The current day Democrat Party is almost completely taken over by the people who are attracted to Chinese Communist-Communist Organizing.

TROUBLE WITH THE  ORGANIZED #BLUEWAVE  PROGRESSIVES IN NORTH CAROLINA:

PopWire Covered the Resister’s  March against Tedd Budd, sponsored by Gabby Gifford’s Super Pac HERE and HERE.

We exposed the March for Our lives for tactics HERE  And we covered a head of the NC Democrat Party, Community Organizer Ellison  HERE

Ted Budd visiting a school in NC:

COULD IT BE BECAUSE THE LEFT’S ACTIONS ARE SEEN AS HARASSMENT?

March for Our Lives-Gabby Giffords Super Pac, Swing Left and Guildford County Indivisible are all arms of the Communist Organizing movement funded thru David Brock/Obama/Soros.

Remember, their missions is to agitate and stir up interest in voters, with local community organizing to bring about a Progressive Communist agenda of Centralized Power and Government Dependency.

Is that popular in Rural North Carolina?

Could it be because they don’t represent the district?

According to Swing Left, they have been doing this for an entire year and this is interest they have, 10 people.  29 views in 17 days is not a strong movement.

WATCH:

FRAMING A FALSE NARRATIVE, CREATING A STRAWMAN:

The Democrat’s groups post Fake News about Budd saying he refuses to address the concerns about Gun Violence in the 13th district, yet Budd has meet with district professionals, on the topics of gun violence numerous times:

His political opponents use childish optics and Community Organizing tactics to frame a false narrative.  And then they keep repeating it:

So it looks like even the Democrat Party in the 13th district has had enough.  Budd is up for re-election.  Coker and Manning have a Democratic primary May 8th. Budd doesn’t have a primary challenger.

PopulistWire did reach out and ask for a statement, we will update if we receive anything:
